So since I last wrote, everything really has changed.
We've now been told by the government to stay home to avoid the risk of either catching or un-intentionally spreading the virus. Self isolating even when at home with your family can make you feel low, scared, worried and depressed. Remember though we're all in this together and we'll get through it together. You are not alone. We will navigate our way through this crazy journey one day at a time.
The feelings of over-whelm at times can be a little tough to handle. We're all facing a situation that we've never been in before. Wether it be issues with your physical health, mental health, financial worries or even simply missing your loved ones, there is no denying it's a challenging time.
I'm not asking you to pretend that this isn't hard, I'm asking you to believe that it won't last forever, you have to choose to move forward every single day. Some days maybe it'll be baby steps and that's ok, just take things one day at a time.
I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow far less next week or next month but what I do know, is that by staying home I'm doing my bit to flatten the curve and protect our NHS. And each day we stay home, we are protecting our loved ones and our community.
We will rise from this stronger.
Stay home & stay safe
