We all know the saying, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” right? Well, there’s something missing from that statement: SUGAR! In life, sour situations can be sweetened by simply adding a little sugar! And right now, we're all maybe feeling a little more sour than normal?
So rather than puckering up, we Rich Girls are choosing to sprinkle some sugar on by focusing on what lies ahead of us. So the next time you find yourself feeling blue just remember: When life hands you lemons, don't just make lemonade, you gotta sprinkle some SUGAR on that!
ps. If you do actually want to make some lemonade, then this is the only recipe you need FACT!
- Start off by making "simple syrup": Place the sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Stir so that the sugar dissolves completely and remove from heat.
- Juice the lemons: While the water is heating for the simple syrup, juice your lemons. Depending on the size you will need approx 4-6 for 1 cup of lemon juice.
- Combine the lemon juice, simple syrup and water into a serving jug. If needed you can add more water but remember when you add ice, it will dilute further.
- Chill: Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes. Serve with ice, sliced lemons. Put your feet up and relax with your fave book!
